Instrumental Exploration
*Ages 4-6 years * Class length 30 minutes * Class size limited to 8 students * All materials available to share in class, bring a ukulele if you have one*
A hands-on way to find the instrument you love! Come get your hands on some instruments and learn the basics of reading music and playing instruments through games, movement and hands-on experiences each week. Each class has an instrumental focus (we will play that instrument a little each week!) and then we explore xylophone/piano basics, drums and rhythm basics, and ukulele and string basics. At the end of each segment, we try some related instruments- like drum set and piano and violin! Help your child ‘feel’ what instrument may be the best fit for their future private lessons when they’re just a little bit bigger.
